Student Involvement In Botany Luncheon - Address

Martine, Christopher [1].

Getting a job in botany: Secrets unveiled .

You've taken the coursework, conducted the research, and proposed (or even defended) the thesis. So now all that's left to do is get a job in your field. Not so easy, it may seem. But there will be jobs out there, and someone needs to get them. Through personal reflections, discussion, and results from a survey of recently-hired young scientists, we'll see if we can find a pattern in the paths taken to successful early careers in the botanical sciences. Students at any stage should take something useful from the session. (part of the student luncheon)
